Lunch and a Movie: See How They Run (2022) In-Person
Bring your lunch (beverages provided) to the Monroe Township Library and enjoy the second of two mystery movies that provide plenty of laughs as well as intrigue and suspense! This charming comic mystery takes place against the real-life backdrop of Agatha Christie's long-running West End play The Mousetrap. It's the 1950s, and the stage hit is set to be adapted to film with its original cast, but a backstage murder complicates things. World-weary Inspector Stoppard (Sam Rockwell) and his eager rookie partner Constable Stalker (Saiorse Ronan) must sort through the suspects, which include the play's star Richard Attenborough (Harris Dickson) and his wife Sheila Sim (Pearl Chanda). The fact is, nearly everyone in the cast had some sort of motive. And as more deaths are added to the first (well, isn't that always the way?), the veteran detective and his not-always-predictable assistant have their work cut out for them. No signups required. Popcorn generously donated by Regal Cinemas.
