Movie Discussion Club In-Person

Love movies? So do we! Join our Monthly Movie Discussion Club where film lovers come together to share thoughts, insights, and reactions to a selected film each month.

Please note: We do not watch the film during the meeting — you’ll need to view it on your own ahead of time.

During our meetings, we’ll dive into discussion, explore themes, characters, and filmmaking techniques and vote on the movie for next month.

Important Content Note:
Movies selected for discussion may contain content that some viewers may find offensive, inappropriate, or disturbing. It is strongly recommended that participants research the film in advance and use their own discretion before viewing.

This program is intended for adults and is designed to encourage thoughtful, respectful conversation about a wide range of cinematic works.

This month we will be discussing*:

AMADEUS (1984)

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Tom Hulce) is a remarkably talented young Viennese composer who unwittingly finds a fierce rival in the disciplined and determined Antonio Salieri (F. Murray Abraham). Resenting Mozart for both his hedonistic lifestyle and his undeniable talent, the highly religious Salieri is gradually consumed by his jealousy and becomes obsessed with Mozart's downfall, leading to a devious scheme that has dire consequences for both men.
